A Great Journey Begins with a Stick
Sometimes a journey comes with fear. Especially when there is no return ticket. Especially when it is not yet clear whether it is a journey at all, or the beginning of a new home.
Through trial and error, I discovered that fear retreats when two things are present: a sense of who you are and the feeling that your loved ones are somehow near.
This is where the first research begins. A search for those two things.
And so the journey leads back to childhood.

Armed with sticks and riding atop a walking tree, we can now set off on a larger expedition into the study of nomadic life.
To keep the task from becoming too cheerful, nomadism will be approached as an alternative and autonomous mode of existence for an entire country.

Since 2023, Tamayrotia has gradually developed its own mythology and traditions, serving as a testing ground for research into the cultural dimensions of nomadism.
